Gallery Photographica presents an exhibition of the finalists in the 2012 San Francisco International Photography Competition. Artists from 40 countries submitted entries, from which this year's juror, Jeff Curto, selected a collection of outstanding works. $6,000 in prizes was granted to three award winners.
The juror, Jeff Curto, is Professor of Photography at the College of DuPage, and is the producer of the History of Photography podcast series. Curto is on the board of the Society for Photographic Education.
To reach the gallery by public transportation, take BART to the 16th Street stop, and walk one block south on Mission Street. 2111 Mission St. is on the left side, just south of the intersection with 17th St.
